Creation Services
This is honestly the most fun part. This is where we talk about what kind of services and products your new and/or growing needs. This advantage to our time is actually technology allows for nearly unlimitless designs with web-page layout, to creating a logo, to page layout, color schemes, photography, graphic design and more as far designing your ideal business card, or restraunt menu or the display of your photos for your new business or maybe you need to have a calendar in which clients can book you for events like wedding dj or the inventory of your small store
Process
We first got to make contact. I personally recommend to start by emailing me at jamesokane@centralmainebusinessconnections.com or any number of methods found under the contact tab. In that first contact, please let me know you name, how best to get in touch with you and of course what you are looking for Central Maine Business Connections can do for you!
The next step is to actually meet. I live near a local McDonald's in the small town of Jay. I find that when selecting a service for your business, or even your own personal needs, its very important to meet the people doing the work, and I believe that's no exception in the digital world. This is time when you get to learn about Central Maine Business Connections and how I can help your business grow.
During this first meeting we will create a general plan that is specific to your needs and wants. We decide what kind of products and services your looking for, you can go into layout details with some broad plans for design (obviously I won't have my i-Mac set up at McDonald's), an over all time of how long it will take for services to go live or products to be made or both. Lastly, we will discuss pay. As a small business and having lived in the back country of Maine for vast majority of my life, I understand that price may not be everything, but its a huge part of it. This is why I believe in personalizing a plan so that it works for both us and is fair to each of our needs. This is why you will not find pricing online, but in that first conversation. I also believe you will be pleasently surprised with my prices.
After that, the work begins for me. I start on designing exactly what we discussed. Now you might already have a logo and just need more business cards. While that would fairly quick and easy, I still have to get the print version into my computer before I can even begin to print a proof. Once I have a fairly good rough draft I will want to meet to get approval with how things look before moving to the production stage.
We will meet at least 1 more time before going to production. During this meeting we will go over the finer details or adjustments that are needed before going to production. This will also mark the end of the creation process as it transitions into a maintenance/production phase. This will also typically mean at least some type of payment for the creation phase.
Of course, we can have as many meeting in what ever phases as you wish. A simple web site with a single page is fairly quick and easy process, but once we add in multiple pages, method of payments, any fine tine editing, linking to web search engines including trying to be at the very top of the search engines, all takes time and money. However, as I have mentioned, I have a rather unique approach so if these are things we feel you truely need then the price is more than likely to be very very reasonable.
